What is Visco Elastic Foam or Memory Foam?
Visco-elastic Memory foam is a unique
oil-based polyurethane flexible foam, originally
developed in the 1970s by NASA (National
Aeronautics and Space Administration) at their
Ames Research Center, USA. This Memory foam was
intended to be used to support the astronauts by
relieving the incredible G-forces experienced in
the human body during lift-off of their
spacecraft.

Can Memory foam benefit me?
Visco-elastic Memory foam is not like latex
or conventional foam. Visco-elastic Memory foam

temperature of the user, the Visco-elastic

What are the features of Memory foam Density
vs. ILD?
Memory Foam comes in two distinct categories:
Temperature-sensitive and non
temperature-sensitive. The temperature-sensitive
versions are more costly, unfortunately. By
temperature sensitive we mean 98 degrees and not
140 degrees.
Most people have been told by others that
density is related directly to the firmness or
softness of a Visco-elastic Memory foam product.
This is not true. The firmness and/or softness
of Memory foam is determined by the ILD/IFD
(Impression Load Deflection/Impression Force
Deflection) rating -- the higher the number, the
firmer the feel; the lower the number, the
softer the feel.
